FAM Pets started with Steven and a simple question: if I give him something every day, what happens to that product after I open it?
One of the products I gave Steven was fish oil, in a traditional pump bottle. The pump could drip. The bottle could get oily. The oil did not always land where I wanted it to. When I looked deeper, I found the same frustrations kept showing up across leading liquid fish oils: leaking, mess, and pumps that did not always work.
Then I started looking at soft chews differently too. A jar of soft chews can hold weeks of servings, but the whole supply is opened each time you reach in for one serving. Why should every serving be exposed just because I need today's serving?
We believe the way a supplement is protected and served should be considered from the beginning, not treated as an afterthought. That question led us toward airless fish oil delivery and individually wrapped soft chews - not because packaging should be complicated, but because good design should make the routine feel simpler.
