What does nitrogen flushing actually do?
Before each chew is sealed, nitrogen is used to replace much of the oxygen around the chew inside the wrapper. Nitrogen is an inert gas. The goal is to help protect the chew until you open that serving.
Why are the chews individually wrapped instead of kept in a jar?
You only open the chew your dog is about to eat. The rest stay sealed. This helps limit repeated exposure to air and humidity and avoids reaching into the same shared container every day.
What if my dog is a picky eater?
Offer the chew whole first. If your dog is unsure, press it into smaller pieces while it is still inside the wrapper. Then open the wrapper and give the pieces by hand or sprinkle them over familiar food.
